Why It Remains Scientifically Impossible

Energy Density: Human metabolism requires far more caloric intake than surface-level sunlight could ever provide. A human would need an impossible surface area to absorb enough light for basic movement.
   Cellular Structure: Animal cells lack the biochemical pathways necessary to process light energy into glucose, the sugar plants use as fuel.
   Evolutionary Path: Humans have evolved as heterotrophs, relying on the consumption of organic matter to survive rather than autotrophic synthesis.

Future Frontiers

While natural photosynthesis is off the table, scientists continue to explore synthetic biology and bio-hybrid materials that might one day integrate solar-harvesting technology into external medical devices or synthetic skins.
